THE ISLAND OF TIMELESS MEDITERRANEAN BEAUTY
Capri is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and its historic villas, among which Villa Helios stands as a true gem: a harmonious blend of classical architecture and Mediterranean charm.
To promote well-being through a timeless Capri experience
Rooted in Tradition, Guided by Nature
We are committed to honoring the island’s strong agricultural heritage through a sustainable way of living that guides everything we do at Villa Helios. At Il Giardino, our restaurant, we highlight seasonal, local ingredients—many from our own garden—and embrace a regenerative approach to food. This commitment extends to our use of solar energy, electric transport, eco-certified products, and natural gardening methods, all in harmony with the spirit of Capri.
Baroness Barbara Meta von Salis-Marschlins
Villa Helios was built at the request of Baroness Barbara Meta von Salis-Marschlins — a remarkable woman, esteemed writer, and pioneering advocate for women’s rights. She was the first woman in Switzerland to earn a doctorate. Disillusioned by the political climate in her home country, the baroness moved to Capri with her partner, Hedwig Kym.
Today, Villa Helios still supports the San Giuseppe Rest Home, while also welcoming guests as a luxurious residence, recently restored to preserve its historical essence and harmony with the natural environment. It is a place where beauty, history, and nature converge, offering an experience that is both authentic and unforgettable.
Cultural Guardians
At Villa Helios, we invite our guests to immerse themselves in the true Caprese lifestyle. Our mission is to guide them beyond the well-trodden paths, revealing the island’s lesser-known corners — full of culture, history, and quiet beauty.
Guests are welcomed into the Villa Helios family — a team united by a deep love for the island and extensive experience in luxury hospitality. Together, we are passionate about sharing the rich heritage and authentic soul of Capri.
